Cary’s Only Elite Invisalign Provider
If you’re ready for a smile that transforms your appearance, Invisalign may be your answer! Bovenizer & Baker Orthodontics in Cary, NC is a certified, Elite provider of Invisalign, and is trained to provide the treatment to both teens and adults.
Not all Invisalign treatment is equal; it also depends on the orthodontist doing the work. As Cary’s only elite Invisalign provider, this demonstrates our ability and our dedication to the best possible results.
Invisalign treatment consists of a series of aligners that you switch out about every two weeks. Each aligner is individually manufactured with exact calculations to gradually shift your teeth into place. Since your Invisalign system is custom-made for your teeth and your teeth only, you can rest assured that you’ll end up with a smile that truly fits.
How Invisalign Works
Once Dr. Bovenizer or Dr. Baker identifies that you are a candidate for the Invisalign system, we will take an impression of your teeth and fabricate a series of active aligners that are custom made just for you. Each appliance is made of lightweight, clear plastic in the shape of your dental arches.
You’ll wear each appliance for two weeks. The nearly invisible appliances are so easy to wear and talk with, few people even know they have them on. In just a few months, you’ll be enjoying your beautiful new smile. Whether you’re in school, on the go with family, a professional in the public eye, or active in sports, Invisalign can easily fit into your busy life.
With Invisalign Teen, teenagers now have an alternative option to metal braces. Invisalign® Teen is the clear way to straighten teeth without metal braces. The system’s aligners are removable and virtually invisible, which means you can straighten your teeth without anyone knowing, and you can still eat and drink what you want. Additionally, you can brush and floss normally to maintain healthy gums and teeth, and there are no wires, metal or brackets to cause mouth abrasions.
Invisalign Teen works the same way as the traditional Invisalign tray system:
- Each set of aligners is worn for about two weeks.
- Remove the aligners only to eat, drink, brush and floss.
- Your teeth will move gradually each week.
- Visit us every 8-10 weeks.
- Total treatment time averages 6-15 months.
- Average number of aligners is between 15 and 30.
Cost of Invisalign
Dr. Bovenizer and Dr. Baker will be able to determine the cost of Invisalign based on the specifics of your individual needs. These factors can include the complexity of your case, how long your treatment will take, and your orthodontic insurance coverage.
Many dental insurance plans cover Invisalign just as they would other orthodontic treatments like braces. Our team or your insurance carrier can help you to determine the exact coverage for your treatment. If your insurance does not cover all of your treatment costs or if cost is a concern for you, talk to us about payment options – we offer flexible and affordable monthly payment plans, some with no interest. Many of our patients take advantage of our third-party financing partners, including Springstone Patient Financing and Chase Health Advantage, to spread their treatment costs over a longer time. You can also apply for these online before you come into the office.
Many companies offer their employees flexible spending accounts, or FSAs. An FSA allows you to set aside a portion of your paycheck in order to pay for qualified medical expenses. The money you elect to contribute is deducted from your pay and transferred directly into your FSA and, therefore, is not subject to payroll taxes. After incurring eligible medical costs, you can then submit your receipt for reimbursement from your FSA provider.
Since Invisalign falls under orthodontic treatment, these costs can qualify for FSA reimbursement. If your company offers an FSA and you know you’d like to use it to pay for Invisalign, plan ahead and consult your benefits department. When it comes time to enroll in your program, you can authorize a deduction for the appropriate amount for your Invisalign treatment and save money while doing it, since it’s a pre-tax contribution. This is an easy and convenient way to get the smile you want.
